Your child’s health and safety are our top priorities. Below are important guidelines and resources to help families stay informed about immunization requirements and recommended vaccinations.
🩺 Required Immunizations for School Entry
In accordance with North Carolina law, students must have up-to-date immunizations to attend public school. These include vaccines for:

Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (DTaP/Tdap)

Polio
-
Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)

Hepatitis B
-
Varicella (Chickenpox)

Meningococcal (for middle and high school students)
Proof of immunizations is required within 30 calendar days of enrollment. Failure to provide documentation will result in exclusion from school until records are received.

Meningococcal Meningitis
Meningococcal disease is a serious bacterial illness that can lead to brain damage, hearing loss, or even death. Preteens and teens are at increased risk.

Recommended at ages 11–12, with a booster at age 16

Required for rising 7th graders and high school seniors in NC
