Federal Programs at TISA

At Triad International Studies Academy (TISA), we are proud to participate in a variety of federal programs that support student success, educational equity, and whole-child development. These programs provide essential resources to help us meet the diverse needs of our students, families, and staff.

🏫 What Are Federal Programs in K–12 Education?

Federal education programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Education and designed to:

  • Promote equal access to high-quality education

  • Support schools serving students from low-income families

  • Provide services to students with disabilities and English learners

  • Fund professional development for educators

  • Enhance academic achievement and whole-school improvement

These programs are guided by federal laws such as the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), reauthorized as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
